My trailer electrical, back up lamps, rear turn signals and brake lights all work. I have a feeling it might be something simple but don't know about it.
The red led section on my driver's side tail light (not on the trunk lid) is not lighting. The brake and direction lights work fine. I'm going to end up buying a new tail light assembly since my Fusion has over 50K (50,125 miles) and is 3 years old. $260 dollars for a tail light assembly vice $8.50 for a bulb.

The tail lights work as long as brake pedal not activated, therefore tail light fuse should be OK. The brake lights work when the head lights are not on and then the brake pedal is activated. This should mean the brake light fuse is OK. Irregardless of this, I have checked ALL the lighting fuses.
Hey everyone. I have a 2006 Ford F250 6.0 Powerstroke and currently have no tail lights or license plate lights. I have brake lights, turn signals, back up lights, and even have trailer lights. I've checked all of my fuses with a volt meter multiple times and everything is reading 12 volts on both sides of the fuses.
Step 4. Reattach the ground connector to the body. Use a new screw if the old one is very rusty. A bad brake light ground connection will result in the brake lights not working, or power crossfeeding through the tail-light circuit, preventing both tail and brake lights froms working at the same time. Repairing the connection is a project that
